There’s 4 types of friendship personalities in my life:

  1. Friends who you don’t get awkward with at all.
    — I don’t know about you, but this fits with the relationship I have with my best friend. Whenever we hold conversations, there’s no electronic devices around that would prevent us from having a real conversation. Real talks don’t require electronic devices. Even when we suddenly become quiet and have nothing to talk about there’s nothing awkward between us two, because we’re chill about it.
  2. Friends who you get awkward with, but still hang out with freely.
    — I tend to hang out with these people (or person), and we have a great time with each other. We’d wave “hi” in the school hallways and give high-fives whenever we see each other. But one thing that brings a downside to our friendship relationships is that awkwardness that stands in between. Once things get awkward, they stay awkward.
  3. Friends who you know and don’t get sociable with.
    — There’s those people in your life who you meet, but never really get the chance to hang out… maybe because it’s awkward? Or maybe because he/she is not really your type. Sometimes I see my friends who I don’t become sociable with and just awkwardly say “hi” sometimes, but after that… nothing really happens. You just know that person, but you’re still friendly with him/her. You don’t know him/her well enough.
  4. “Friends” who you know, but just ignore or completely ignore.
    — As I went through my social life in elementary, middle, and high school I’ve met so many different and diverse people. Then as time goes by, you don’t seem to talk to that person or group of people anymore… the bond between you and your friend that was once there is just a piece of string between you two, that can be cut over and over again. You can randomly encounter him/her in the bus, or maybe the street but you’ll be reluctant to even say “hi” to him/her because it’s just more than awkward to do so.
